Commercial Electrician without the downtime.
Power your business without the downtime.
Houston electricians for commercial electrician.
Ship Channel warehouses, Pasadena shops, Baytown restaurants, and strip-center TI jobs don't get to shut down for a week while someone "figures it out." Chosen 1 Electric runs commercial electrical work around your operation — night shifts, phased cutovers, and clean EMT that inspectors actually like.
We handle tenant improvements, LED high-bay and track lighting retrofits, three-phase service and sub-panels, and the machine hookups that keep production moving. Need a panel upgrade or a standby generator for storm season? Same crew, same standard.
If you're comparing residential vs. commercial scopes, our residential electrician page covers homes — this page is for businesses that can't afford downtime.

What this service actually covers.
Tenant improvements & buildouts
From rough-in on metal studs through trim-out: branch circuits, dedicated equipment feeds, and lighting layouts that match the architect's prints — or we help redraw them when the prints don't match the space.
LED lighting retrofits
High-bay warehouse fixtures, linear office LEDs, restaurant track, and exterior wall packs. We also handle full lighting installation scopes when the job spans residential and commercial.
Service, sub-panels & three-phase
Service upgrades, sub-panels for tenant suites, and three-phase distribution for shops and light industrial. Neat conduit, labeled schedules, inspection-ready.
Equipment & machine hookups
Welders, CNC, compressors, ovens, coolers — hardwired or receptacle, with disconnects where code requires them and capacity verified before we land the load.
Signs you need this crew.
Not sure if it's this service or something adjacent? Tell us what you're seeing — we'll point you to the right scope, whether that's this page or another under all services.
- A lease is signing and the space needs power before the move-in date
- Fluorescent high-bays are eating the power bill and failing constantly
- A new machine needs a dedicated circuit the existing panel can't support
- Your inspector flagged open junctions, unlabeled panels, or undersized feeders
- Storm season is coming and you need generator installation sized for the critical loads
From first call to labeled finish.
Walk the space with your prints
We review drawings, existing service capacity, and your operating hours so the install doesn't collide with production. Request a quote with plans attached if you have them.
Flat scope, phased schedule
You get a written scope and price. Cutover windows are agreed up front — nights and weekends when the business can't go dark mid-day.
Permit, inspect, hand off
We pull commercial permits when required, meet the inspector, and leave you with labeled panels and as-built notes — the same documentation standard as our diagnostics work.
Questions we get on commercial electrician.
Can you work after hours so we stay open?
Yes. Most of our commercial lighting retrofits and service cutovers are scheduled evenings or weekends. We'll price the after-hours premium in writing so there are no surprises.
Do you handle both TI and new construction?
Tenant improvements and light commercial new construction, yes. For bare-stud residential and outbuilding scopes, see rewires & new construction.
Where do you take commercial calls?
Pasadena is home base. We regularly work Houston, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, Channelview, and Pearland industrial and retail spaces. Full map on where we work.
