Residential Electrician

Houston electricians for residential electrician.

Houston homes ask a lot of their wiring — garage EV chargers, kitchen remodels, attic HVAC, and humidity that eats cheap devices for breakfast. Chosen 1 Electric is the residential crew homeowners from Pasadena to Pearland call when they want the job done once and done right.

We handle the everyday calls and the bigger upgrades: new outlets and GFCI protection, lighting installation, ceiling fans, dedicated appliance circuits, and the aluminum-branch fixes that realtors love to bury in the fine print. When the panel itself is the problem, we step into electrical panel upgrades without handing you off to a stranger.

Every residential visit starts with boots on the ground. You get a flat written price before we touch a wire — and a labeled panel schedule when we leave. Browse our work if you want to see what that looks like.

  • Outlet, switch & GFCI installation
  • Ceiling fans, chandeliers & recessed lighting
  • Dedicated appliance & 240V circuits
  • Aluminum wiring remediation

What's included

What this service actually covers.

  • Outlets, switches & GFCI protection

Dead outlets, ungrounded receptacles, and missing GFCI in kitchens, baths, garages, and outdoors. We replace, relocate, and add circuits — including weatherproof exterior GFCI for Houston's wet seasons.

  • Fans, fixtures & recessed lighting

Ceiling fans that wobble, chandeliers that need a box rated for the weight, and recessed cans cut into finished ceilings. For larger lighting scopes, see our dedicated lighting installation page.

  • Appliance & 240V circuits

Ranges, dryers, cooktops, water heaters, and spa disconnects — sized correctly and landed on a breaker that won't trip every laundry day.

  • Older-home wiring remediation

Aluminum branch circuits, two-prong outlets, and undersized services are common east of downtown. We remediate safely or plan a whole-home rewire when band-aids won't cut it.

When to call

Signs you need this crew.

Not sure if it's this service or something adjacent? Tell us what you're seeing — we'll point you to the right scope, whether that's this page or another under all services.

  • Outlets that are warm, sparking, or only work when you wiggle the plug
  • Breakers that trip when you run the microwave and the AC at the same time
  • A remodel that needs new circuits before the drywall goes up
  • Two-prong outlets, aluminum wiring, or a home inspection flag you need fixed before closing
  • A dead room with no utility outage — we also handle emergency electrical repair
How it works

From first call to labeled finish.

  1. You tell us what's going on

Call, text, or request a quote. Photos of the panel and the problem help us stock the truck before we roll.

  2. We come look at it

No phone estimates on residential work. We open the panel, check capacity, and price the job in writing before we start.

  3. Permitted work, labeled finish

When a permit is required, we pull it. When we're done, every new circuit is labeled — the same standard we hold on commercial jobs.

FAQ

Questions we get on residential electrician.

Do you give residential quotes over the phone?

Not for anything beyond a simple device swap. Accurate pricing starts with seeing the panel and the run. Use our contact form or call — we'll schedule a visit fast.

Can you fix aluminum wiring without a full rewire?

Often, yes — with COPALUM or AlumiConn-style remediation on the affected circuits. If the panel and service are also undersized, we'll walk you through a panel upgrade or rewire instead of stacking temporary fixes.

Do you serve Pasadena, Deer Park, and Baytown?

Yes. We're based at 111 Bearle St in Pasadena and cover Greater Houston including Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, Pearland, Friendswood, and League City. See where we work for the full list.
